Sound Check

Is this thing on!?

You're a musician who is ready for the limelight, just like everyone else in your band. Rehearse, party, get interviewed and get intimate—but don't forget, it's all leading up to one thing: the Big Show. Your chance to prove to everyone (and maybe to yourself) that you have what it takes to be a star.

Sound Check runs on the Firebrands system, an intuitive and easy-to-learn TTRPG format that lets players choose minigames with custom prompts and options so you can tell the kind of story you're most interested in.

Designed for 3-6 players to play over 3-6 sessions.

Brought to you as the September 2026 RPG Zine Club Story Zine.
